We hide over 2,200 painted gourd eggs in our fields and turn you loose to search for them. There will be 1-$100 and 2-$50 cash prize eggs in each hunt along with prize eggs for gourds, $20.00 gift certificates for our store and something sweet. This fun event is for all age!
Admission to our hunt is one non-perishable food item per person. Sorry, no out-of-date or damaged food items will be accepted. All food will be donated to Big Spring Paw Packs.The PAW Packs program is a nonprofit community outreach whose purpose is to provide meals to children in the Big Spring School District who otherwise might not have enough to eat on weekends and during some holiday vacations.
Each hunt is limited to 450 people so pre-registration is required. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled hunt to sign in. We always have a waiting list, so please call us if you or anyone in your party is not able to attend your scheduled hunt time.
Each person can find up to 5 colored eggs and 1 prize egg. (Note: Not everyone will get their 5 colored eggs and/or prize egg). In the past, we have had trouble with some taking more than their allotted share of eggs. We do this event as a great and unique way to help the community, please take only what you are allowed and stop hunting when you have reached your maximum limit. Thank you ahead of time!
